The justification of the alternative method of surgical treatment of severe forms of pelvic organ prolapse

Abstract

The developed method of surgical treatment is anatomically and physiologically justified, corresponds to the Integral theory. The work describes the study of the improved method of surgical correction of severe forms of pelvic organ pro- lapsed. Analysis of the results of surgical treatment of 60 women with severe forms of pelvic organ prolapse (POP-Q II- III), which uses a mesh implant «Vypro-II» and native tissues, showed high efficiency, the absence of intraoperative complications and recovery of pelvic organ function according to the routine examinations in 3,12 and 24 months. This allows to recommend this method for surgical treatment of combined forms of severe genital prolapse.
