Morphological portrait of the corpus callosum of a woman of the second period of adulthood

Abstract

Objective: to form a morphological portrait of the cerebellum in male and female mesocephalians of the second period of mature age. Material and methods: the results of a morphometric study of the cerebellum of 52 people (27 men and 25 women) who underwent brain research in the Department of radiation diagnostics in the period 2019–2020 were analyzed. A morphological study of the cerebellum of 29 male and 33 female corpses was performed on the sectional material. Histological and micrometric methods were used. All the subjects had no history of diseases and injuries of the central and peripheral nervous system, as well as alcohol and drug addiction, they were right-handed.
