Morphofunctional state of hard tooth tissues according to scanning probe microscopy in experimental hypothyroidism

Abstract

Thyroidectomy was performed in 63 laboratory animals and an experimental model of hypothyroidism was obtained. In white male rats, the teeth were extracted after 7, 14, 28, 35 and 45 days. The teeth were decalcified, of which histological sections were prepared in a standard way. The sections were stained with hematoxylin and eosin, picrofuxin according to Van Gison.
