Assessment of medical care quality in gastroenterology departments of the Volgograd region hospitals over 2013–2014

Abstract

The dynamics of the morbidity and mortality of the population of the Volgograd region caused by digestive diseases, the outcomes of the specialized inspection of gastroenterological care quality in the relevant departments of the Volgograd region hospitals over 2013–2014 were explored. The results of the evaluation of the medical care quality in the institutions of Level II (city district hospitals) and Level III (regional, territorial, and republican hospitals) were provided. The comparative analysis of the indicators of the medical care quality in gastroenterology departments of the Volgograd region hospitals was performed.
