EHLERS-DANLOS SYNDROME — TEMPOROMANDIBULAR JOINT HYPERMOBILITY OR A VARIETY OF NORMAL CONDITION?

Abstract

The authors consider a rare case of habitual dislocation of temporomandibular joint heads in a young female patient with an otherwise perfectly healthy oral cavity. The authors performed differential diagnostics between Marfand syndrome, Ehlers-Danlos syndrome and temporomandibular joint dysfunction and proposed recommendations for treatment.
