Abstract

In the present study, we studied the effect of a new derivative of C2,C3-quinoxaline with anxiolytic activity, the compound A81, on the concentration of noradrenaline, dopamine, serotonin, 5-hydroxyindoleacetic acid (5-HIAA), and dihydroxyphenylacetic acid (DPAA) in brain tissues. The study was performed using a high performance liquid chromatography technique. Based on the study in biological samples under the influence of compound A81, in contrast to diazepam, an increase in the concentration of free serotonin with a more significant decrease in the content of dopamine and its metabolite DPAA is characteristic.
