In experiment on Wistar rats, in accordance with the modern concept of the etiopathogenesis of acute pancreatitis, two methods were developed for modeling experimental acute pancreatitis, and on the basis of morphological signs identified in animals, they were compared. Analysis of the results obtained shows the possibility of using both models for modeling acute pancreatitis.
