To study the clinical effect of using a set of measures for correcting individual oral hygiene, the essence of which is to minimize trauma to the marginal periodontium and improve the quality of removing bacterial plaque from the surface of teeth and temporary prostheses in patients receiving prosthodontic treatment with non-removable metal-ceramic structures. A prospective controlled cohort study was carried out. The use of gentle oral hygiene, including adherence to the rules of brushing teeth according to Bass, a soft toothbrush, the use of a therapeutic and prophylactic toothpaste with an anti-inflammatory and hemostatic effect, allows you to minimize the traumatic effect of subgingival preparation. In the long term, in persons with healthy periodontal disease, the features of hygienic care of the oral cavity during prosthetics did not have a significant effect on the condition of the periodontium.
