Histological and immunohistochemical methods have shown an increase in the proliferative activity of epithelial cells in the phase of reproduction of spermatogenesis on sections of the testes of rats with magnesium deficiency compared to sections of intact animals by 2.9 and 4.6 times, respectively. The studies carried out suggest that the increase in the proliferation of epithelial cells in the presence of magnesium deficiency in rats is a consequence of the adaptation of the reproductive system to this state.
