Abstract

The article includes a review of scientific literature over the past 10 years on the topic: Сharacterization, properties, preparation, analysis of liposomes as targeted drug delivery systems, and other possibilities of their application. The main targeting strategies are highlighted. The modern production methods are classified with advantages and disadvantages. The main indicators characterizing the quality of the obtained liposomes and methods of their analysis are summarized.
