The use of tissue adhesives in surgery is associated with certain risks, for example, commissural process occurrence, the formation of an infiltrate and focal necrosis of the mucous membrane. Therefore, it is expedient and promising to develop surgical films. The use of surgical films with tissue glue applied to one of the sides eliminates the artificial need to isolate the anastomosis. The selection of the adhesive components and the base for the film minimizes the infiltrate formation. According to the studies carried out, it was revealed that films based on gelatin have the greatest strength and elasticity so they are very perspective for using as tissue adhesives matrices.
