Abstract

Under experimental conditions, correlations between the number and size of lymphoid nodules in the cross-section plane of a rabbit's somatic and visceral lymph nodes were found, depending on their regional affiliation and the age of the animals. The age dynamics of the correlation between the considered parameters has a fluctuating character. Until the young age of animals (1 month), a close positive correlation was observed, indicating the growth of the parenchyma of these B-dependent zones of lymph nodes. By the age of puberty (5 months), the sample correlation coefficients become negative, indicating the completion of the growth of the lymphoid nodules parenchyma. Age-related changes in the morphology of lymphoid nodules are more pronounced in lymph nodes, regional to the abdominal organs, compared with somatic lymph nodes.
