Abstract

A detailed analysis of archival documents, open sources, historical facts was carried out, on the basis of which the most important stages of the formation of human anatomy and pathological anatomy departments of Volgograd State Medical University were determined, main directions of scientific, educational and practical activities of the staff of departments in the XX century were described.
