A study and analysis of autopsy material of patients with COVID-19 infection (22 cases) was carried out. Differences in the structure of the pathological-anatomical diagnosis were revealed. In 86,4 % of cases a severe form coronavirus infection caused by COVID-19, confirmed by virological examination of autopsy material, was the main disease in the pathological-anatomical diagnosis. In the sectional material, the prevalence of respiratory pathology, acute bilateral pneumonia, acute respiratory distress syndrome of adults, as well as the high incidence among the studied lethal out- comes of cardiovascular and endocrine pathology, especially in elderly patients.
