Abstract

The dynamics of age-related changes in the structural parameters of the heart was studied using the echocardiographic method in people aged 17 to 80 years who do not have a diagnosed cardiovascular disease. It was found that age-related structural changes in the left ventricle are manifested by hypertrophy of its posterior wall and interventricular septum, which reaches a maximum value after 75 years.
