Abstract

Diagnosis, treatment and early prevention of thyroid disease is a key problem in modern endocrinology. We conducted an immunohistochemical study of thyroid tissue in normal and pathological conditions (in the presence of nodular formations) using CK7, CK8, CK18. It was found that intrafollicular epithelial cells are normally immunopositive to CK7, while CK8 and CK18 positive cells are detected only in pathology accompanied by proliferative changes.
