Abstract

The article presents an overview of the latest data on changes in metabolic processes in alcohol intoxication. The study of the mechanisms of action of ethanol on the body and the pathogenesis of alcohol intoxication remains an urgent medical and biological problem due to the inefficiency of treatment, numerous negative medical, social and economic con- sequences of alcohol abuse.
