Tumors of the thymus in children-a rare pathology. Thymolipoma is a benign tumor consisting of adipose tissue and hyperplastic thymus tissue, found in 2–10 % of all tumors of the thymus. We present a clinical case illustrating the long-term existence of timolipoma in a 12-year-old girl, which can be regarded as a congenital condition.
