Archival case of intensive therapy in a patient with pre-eclampsia and multiple organ failure (MODS). Complications: acute respiratory distress syndrome and non-cardiogenic pulmonary edema. The patient was diagnosed with respiratory failure in the department of intensive care and intensive care. Clinically significant water-sectoral disorders were re- vealed in the form of pronounced extravascular hyperhydration combined with a decrease in the volume of circulating blood. Respiratory, medication and infusion intensive therapy were performed. The basic task of infusion-transfusion therapy was the osmotic correction of the volemic function of blood, for the transfer of excess fluid from the extravascu- lar sector to the intravascular and subsequent excretion through the kidneys. A vivid example of effective and safe infu- sion therapy in a patient with multiple organ failure is presented after assessing water-sectoral disorders of the organism with subsequent fulfillment of target tasks.
Pre-eclampsia, pathology of water exchange, infusion therapy, small-volume low-flow continuous infusion, hydroxyethyl starch, body fluid compartments, multiple organ failure (MODS)
