The article describes the use of autologous platelet rich plasma (PRP) in the treatment of partial damage of the supraspinatus tendon in the shoulder joint. Improved scale scores and positive changes in the lesion seen on MRI one year after the onset of the treatment demonstrate the need for controlled trials aimed at developing a methodology for the use of PRP in the treatment of patients with rotator cuff injuries.
