Dental caries and the level of dental service in Volgograd twelve-year-old children (1981–2015)

Abstract

Dental epidemiological studies were conducted in Volgograd in 1981–2015. In 12-year-old children the values of caries prevalence and DMFT changed in opposite directions with an apparent tendency towards a decline. The level of the dental service for children was satisfactory in 1981–2009 and increased only from 2009 to 2015.
