Abstract

A rehabilitation program of 54 patients with ankylosing spondylitis who received post-isometric muscle relaxation exercises, remedial gymnastics, and massage to measure external respiration by using a MAC–1 apparatus, and who underwent a quality of life evaluation by using the Oswestry disability index showed potential for their use.
