Recent studies have made it possible to expand and complement the modern idea of the regulation of many physiological processes in the body. Oral mucosa diseases are no exception. Erosive and ulcerative forms of lichen planus are of special importance for clinicians as it is very difficult to diagnose this pathology, it can grow malignant. Therefore, dentists make every possible effort to speed up epithelization and restore the reparative function. It is well known that combined treatment of oral cavity diseases employs a wide range of drugs that affect both the flora, and the various mechanisms of inflammation patho- genesis. However, modern methods and tools do not prove to be clinically effective. In this connection, a drug-free regenerative method based on platelet autoplasma is getting increasingly accepted in dental practice. This problem requires further evidence-based investigation.
