Abstract

The article describes the results of examination and treatment of 130 patients with indolent purulent phlegmons in the maxillofacial region. Clinical and immunological studies have shown that polyoxidonium applications and transcranial electrical stimulation are effective in the complex treatment of indolent purulent maxillofacial phlegmons. Along with this, we revealed that the combined use of polyoxidonium applications and transcranial electrical stimulation exerts an unidirectional immunomodulatory action.
