EVALUATION OF CLINICAL EFFICACY OF PLASMOLIFTING AND TRAUMEEL-S IN THE TREATMENT OF GENERALIZED PERIODONTITIS IN DOGS

Abstract

Recent studies have given new insights into the regulation of a variety of physiological processes in the body including periodontal disease. It is well known that in the comprehensive treatment of periodontal disease, dentists use a number of medications that affect both the microflora in the periodontal pocket and various pathogenetic mechanisms of inflammation. However, modern methods of treatment do not exhibit a substantial clinical efficacy. In this regard,Plasmolifting, a non-pharmacological method of treatment, in combination with Traumeel S, a homeopathic remedy, are becoming increasingly popular in dental practice.
