The morphology of wound healing in rats with diabetes mellitus and simulated wounds induced by NO-system blockade was analyzed. The study demonstrated the effects of the blockade of constitutive and inducible NO-synthases on the histomorphological features of wound healing process. The role of NO-system in mechanisms of wound healing processes in rats with experimental diabetes was identified.
