Pathological changes in the temporo-mandibular joint are characterized by a variety of clinical manifestations, which make them very difficult to diagnose and treat. We studied the symptoms of temporomandibular dysfunction caused by abnormal occlusion and articulation in a sample comprising 80 subjects, and suggested a scheme of examination, differential diagnosis and etiopathogenetic treatment for such patients.
