Objective. To improve screening and treatment of pregnant women with chronic cervicitis of uterine cervix on the basis of modern combined methods of investigation and treatment. Materials and methods. 106 pregnant women with chronic cervicitis were investigated. They were divided into two groups: the first group received treatment, the second group did not receive any treatment for various reasons. Instrumental, cytological and bacteriological methods were used. Results. Timely comprehensive treatment of cervicitis in pregnant women using antiseptics, drugs of Kipferon, Wobenzym as well as the mandatory use of probiotics made the risk of a prenatal infection 5 times as low and improved perinatal outcomes.
