Using a structural biomechanical approach, a system of mathematical equations for calculating internal and tension forces in a dental fixed bridge and in the periodontal membrane of the abutment tooth has been suggested. The results of the comparative analysis of the intensely deformed dental fixed bridge-abutment connection, taking into account stiffness characteristics of the periodontal membrane, will enable us to predict clinical outcomes at an early stage, and make the best treatment choice to improve orthopedic device retention in patients with low-crown abutment teeth.
