Manifestation of galvanosis in the mouth is a quite common, but little-studied condition. There exist a variety of opinions about the cause of the disease: pathological process of internal organs, an effect of local factors, such as allergic reaction to the metal of Skye, poor-quality orthopedic design. Recently, more attention has been paid to the state of the nervous system and the personal characteristics of the patient. Such structural and dynamic characteristics of an individual as anxiety, phobic and hysterical manifestations, obsessive and compulsive symptoms, depressive reactions often affect the process of adaptation to dental treatment causing a range of complaints from patients, in particular characteristic of galvaosis in the oral cavity.
