Abstract

The paper presents up-to-date data about brain damage biomarkers. Taking a blood test, detecting the biomarker panel and analyzing it enables doctors and researchers to assess the severity and mechanism of injury, to ascertain the indications to accessory studies, to reveal disease progress and possible complications, to assess the effectiveness of treatment,to predict the outcome of craniocerebral injury – all within a short time.
