PERIODONTAL MICROBIOLOGICAL COMPOSITION CHANGES UPON THERAPY OF INFLAMMATORY PERIODONTAL DISEASE WITH POLYKATAN IN A GEL FORM IN COMBINATION WITH LINCOMYCINE

Abstract

The purpose of the research is to evaluate comparative microbiological efficiency of Polykatan in gel form in combination with 1%lincomycine in inflammatory periodontal disease treatment. A modified gel Polykatan under study was applied in association with the conventional therapeutic regimen in patients with chronic inflammatory periodontal disease. The medical form of gel provides long-term persistence in the oral cavity and has a positive effect on microbilogical changes of the oral cavity.
