One of the most important stages in the tactics of modern orthopedic treatment is production of provisional appliances. In the manufacture and fixation of temporary prosthesis one often has difficulty in its recovery during adjustment of fixed and permanent prosthesis (inlays, onlays). This is due to the snug fitting of temporary prosthesis to the walls of the tooth. The existing method of extracting provisional appliances so as to avoid any damage to the prepared cavity design, and maintain the integrity of the temporary structures for future use needs to be modified. The basic prerequisite for the development of the method is to protect the dental pulp of the prepared tooth, which will prevent pulp-dentin sensitivity and vulnerability to subsequent bacterial infiltration.
