CARDIOPROTECTIVE PROPERTIES OF THE COMPOUND RU-1190 IN EXPERIMENTAL ISCHEMIA AND REPERFUSION IN RAT MYOCARDIUM

Abstract

An experimental model of rat’s heart ischemia/reperfusion was used to study the cardioprotective effect of the compound RU-1190 (1 mg/kg I.V.) The drug significantly reduced the area of myocardial necrosis, decreased the serum troponin I level and the severity of postreperfusion arrhythmia as well.
