We observed 34 patients with osteoarthrosis in the knee and wrist joints. The control group consisted of 26 patients with osteoarthrosis symptoms who manifested no significant differences in the diagnoses, age and sex characteristics. The complex of rehabilitation measures accompanying drug therapy included physiotherapy procedures, hygienic morning exercises, independent exercises, mechanotherapy, occupational therapy, orsthesis therapy, biofeedback, electrical muscle stimulation, massage, cryotherapy and physiotherapy. Life quality according to Leken’s index, visual analog scale, SF-36 questionnaire and functional motor test was administered to all patients. It was established that after implementation of physical methods of rehabilitation accompanying basic therapy, an improvement was noted; life quality improved, motion range in affected joints increased in comparison with the control group.
