Morphologic study of reparative effects of bischofite solution and glycyrrhizinic acid in experimental model of dermal injuries

Abstract

It was established that bischofite mineral is a biologically active substance with anti-inflammatory, immunomodulatory and reparative activity in experimental and clinical practice. We have investigated the morphologic characteristics of the reparative process of dermal injures under the impact of bischofite solution with glycyrrhizinic acid. It was established that in contrast to control groups the reparation process rate was higher when we had used the bischofite solution with glycyrrhizinic acid. The developed bischofite solution decreased edema and erythema of the dermal injures, promoted crust breakdown. Thus, the bischofite solution with glycyrrhizinic acid can be used as an anti-inflammatory agent with immunomodulatory and reparative activity, which may be recommended for treatment of inflammatory eye conditions.
