Abstract

Adult onset Still’s disease (AOSD) is a rare systemic inflammatory disease characterised by a high spiking fever, evanescent rash, polyarthralgia, leucocytosis and hyperferritinaemia. Clinical presentations of AOSD are heterogeneous, and the spectrum of differential diagnoses is broad, including infectious, neoplastic and autoimmune diseases. The case of AOSD is presented with analysis of typical clinical features, diagnostic criteria and approaches to treatment.
