Incidence and treatment principles of primary teeth erosion in children

Abstract

A cross-sectional study of children (391) aged 2 to 5 years was conducted, the O’Sullivan index was used for dental erosion estimation in primary teeth. The study revealed that dental erosion rate in primary teeth was 30.4 % (95 % CI 24,9—35,9). The chief principles of dental erosion treatment in primary teeth in children are described.
