Abstract

In the present article features of clinical course of different forms of herpetic stomatitis in children are presented. The severity of acute and recurrent herpetic stomatitis is defined by dentists according to general and local signs. For diagnostics it is necessary to take into consideration the fact that exacerbation is accompanied by less expressed general signs when the recurrence rate is high. Therefore the severity of recurrent herpetic stomatitis is determined by the recurrence rate.
